Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario (ARIO)

Ontario Pork comments on A Proposal to Modernize the Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario Act

Research and development are cornerstones of Ontario’s pork industry, providing valuable knowledge, practices and information which allow the industry to continue to foster a vibrant business environment. We believe that ongoing collaboration is necessary and important to continue to develop innovative ideas of mutual benefit and interest.

Ontario Pork supports the proposed revised purpose of the ARIO Act to, “…further the province’s commitment to excellence in agriculture and food processing by facilitating high-impact research and innovation, managing agriculture and food research properties, cultivating strategic relationships, and supporting the growth of the agri-food sector into the future.”
