Self-guided Biosecurity Training

The self-guided biosecurity training session is based on national swine industry standards and is accepted by government funding programs as a standardized biosecurity training course. This certificate is required to apply for Canadian Agricutural Partnership (CAP) funding.

Steps for Biosecurity Certificate:

 

1. Complete the Training

 Visit the Ontario Pork training website, create an account log in, and work through the Biosecurity Training module: a series of 15 five minute videos each with a few questions.    

 

2. Submit Farm Assessment

Complete farm assessment and submit it via email to [email protected].ca or fax: 519-829-1769

 

3. Veterinarian Visit

For funding programs, you will also need your veterinarian to come out and assess biosecurity on your farm.  Written documentation of this visit is required.
