Swine Health Ontario (SHO) is pleased to announce Bethany Davidson-Eng, Ph.D, P. Ag as the new Manager of Swine Health Ontario. SHO is a leadership team dedicated to ensuring the Ontario industry has a global competitive advantage through swine health excellence.
Bethany is a certified professional agronomist, has a Ph.D in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph as well as Bachelor of Environment Studies from the University of Waterloo. Through her doctorate, Bethany explored how farmers’ local knowledge of their soil influenced land management and soil quality in Brazil’s Natuba Basin. She strives to bridge the gaps between physical and social sciences, aiming to work at the interface to develop lasting scientific change in the agriculture and environmental sectors.
